Erasmus+ Project Meeting on Cultural Heritage in Dubrovnik

The second partner meeting of the project Cultural knowledge and linguistic competences as a means to develop 21st century skills took place in the beautiful city of Dubrovnik, Croatia between 15-18 April 2019.

The representatives of the six partner institutions gathered again to discuss the latest developments of the project. The team ofSapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania was represented by Zsuzsanna Ajtony and Enikő Pál.

Since September when this new project was launched, the teachers of each partner institution have developed three modules in English on the intangible cultural heritage of our own countries, in total 18 modules. Then we piloted threedifferent modules created by three other partners. During the meeting in Croatia, we had the chance to discuss the results of this piloting process and we highlighted those aspects of the material that need improving. In the following period of the project the partners will adapt these English modules into their own languages, in our case, into Hungarian and Romanian.

The Dubrovnik meeting was also a great opportunity to visit the historic city of Dubrovnik (Ragusa), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the “pearl of the Adriatic”, as well as the historic walls of Ston and an oyster farm. The next partner meeting is going to take place in Wroclaw, Poland in September.
