Erasmus+ Project Meeting on Cultural Heritage in Wroclaw, Poland

The beautiful Polish city of Wroclaw hosted the third partner meeting of the project “Cultural knowledge and linguistic competences as a means to develop 21st century skills” between 10–13 September 2019. The project partner Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania was represented by Zsuzsanna Ajtony and Zsuzsanna Dégi.

The third meeting concentrated on the evaluation of the first translations-adaptations of the previously created English modules on the cultural heritage of the partner countries. As Sapientia team is responsible for this section of the project, Zsuzsanna Ajtony moderated a discussion on the problems, difficulties encountered during the first part of the adaptation period. The partner meeting was also connected to an international conference Education Culture Society where the project was disseminated to an international audience, and four members of the Sapientia team also gave presentations.

During the partner meeting we had the chance to take part in a guided tour of Wroclaw. Our hosts also organized a day’s outing to Southern Silesia during which we had the chance to visit a miniature park, the Underground city of Osówka and the church of peace in Świdnica. The last, project closing meeting will be organized by the Czech partner in spring 2020.
